Funders' Alliance

The CIW was initially and intentionally developed without government funding. As a result, the project has enjoyed a good degree of developmental independence.

While initially funded entirely by the Atkinson Charitable Foundation (ACF), the ongoing work of the CIW is supported by a Funders’ Alliance. Members of the Alliance include:

• Province of Ontario;  
• The Lawson Foundation;  
• The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation; and  
• Canadian Council on Learning.
